Our focus groups are a fantastic chance for young carers to get their voice heard when it comes to the things that affect them.
Here's what happened at our most recent girls' focus group, run by Kat and Diane:
"Our Girls’ Focus Group had a great time at Krispy Kreme in New Malden this week. We were lucky enough to have a behind-the-scenes store tour, where we learnt lots of fun facts, saw how all the tasty doughnuts are made and watched the yeast jump! Then we all sat down to enjoy some free doughnuts and a milkshake. We met Caz from the BBC, who might be making a film about young carers and Tina, who wanted to find out what we enjoy most at the Young Carer’ Project."
Thanks so much to @krispykreme for having us!
If you're interested in coming along to the focus group let us know! The groups run each term and alternate between the boys' group and the girls' group.
