We recently took part in a community design project which saw us working with artists over a series of workshops to design some incredible final pieces. Click this link to see the full blog about the project which was funded by Shared Heritage: http://www.harmonyproject.co.uk/
Here are some pictures of our highlights:
This session was all about making our own kaleidoscopes using flowers and mirrors and then taking pictures of them using Viv (the artist)'s high-tec cameras!
Viv then printed us off some stencils and brought along some beautiful paints for us to use.
Next step was to make some bean bags out of the gorgeous material that Viv printed of our initial kaleidoscope designs.
Although our work was exhbitied in the beautiful Orleans House Gallery by the river in Twickenham, it was difficult for us to make it there. Instead, we brought the exhibition to us. It was amazing to see our finished products (and to take them home).
This was a really lovely project to work on and we'd like to say a special thank you to Iqbal, Viv and all at Shared Heritage!
