For a few years now we've been taking part in the Samaritan's Purse shoebox appeal which is all about packing up shoeboxes to send away around the world to children who may not receive anything this Christmas.
Those who came along to our Noble drop in yesterday got fully involved in filling the shoeboxes with toys, games, toothbrushes, hats, socks and plenty more goodies. What a lovely thing to see our young carers acting with such empathy and really thinking about the needs of other children around the world.
Thanks to all those who donated shoeboxes and goodies! A special thank you to the Post Room and Adult Social Care at Kingston Council whose generosity this year made everything possible!
We're waiting patiently to find out where in the world our shoeboxes are off to!
