Thanks to our ongoing partnership with the arts charity Create, a group of our young carers got up early on Monday – Thursday this week to travel to Sadler’s Wells in central London. Once they got there they met up with twenty-five young carers from five other London projects. Together, the group worked with professional dancers to come up with their own fantastic curtain raiser dance performance.
What a fantastic opportunity for our young carers, dancing on stage at the famous (and packed!) Sadler’s Wells Theatre and opening for Matthew Bourne’s Edward Scissorhands ballet!
After taking part in the dance workshop, it was lovely to see our young carers recognised in the media. Check out these links to see what I mean!
